Volunteer & Service Opportunities

Programs, which vary from Club to Club, are designed to empower our members to succeed in school and lead healthy lives. Focuses include college readiness, leadership development, financial responsibility, character and confidence building.

Coach members ages 6-18 in structured team sports such as flag football, basketball, and soccer while teaching the fundamentals of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade will be hosting events throughout the year to give our corporate partners or other organizations the opportunity to volunteer. The events will include a variety of projects ranging from Club beautification to literacy activities with our members. The volunteer opportunities typically consist of projects and activity for 3-5 hours. This is a great opportunity for professionals to get a glimpse of how fun and exciting our Club members are! 

 

Inquire for highly specialized improvement/beautification projects which involve refurbishment/transformation of: teen lounge, professional dance/gym studio, computer/tech labs, art labs/studios, music studios, film/video production studios and STEM lab.

Be a Corporate Sponsor of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s Field Day and celebrate the children of Boys & Girls Clubs, by providing them a fun filled day of sports, bounce houses, slides, and delicious goodies. The corporate sponsor team is encouraged to participate. The event takes place between 2-5pm at one of our Clubs.

Be a STEM Champion by providing STEM or Robotics kits for our Clubs. STEM Champions have the opportunity to participate in hands-on building activities and STEM exercises with the youth at one of our Clubs.

Our Pathways to Success programs introduce our Club members to the many and varied career fields open to them. Our partner professionals and companies engage in “Round Robin” interviews with our children, helping them learn about promising jobs and educational opportunities. Help organize a “Pathways” workshop in your local Club, or host a fieldtrip/tour of your company by contacting our development department.
