Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade (BGCMD) is thrilled to announce new appointments to the organization’s Board of Directors.
Longtime BGCMD supporter Robert Kramer, who is an attorney and president of Kramer, Green, Zuckerman, Greene & Buchsbaum P.A. in Hollywood, Florida, has been named chair of BGCMD’s Board of Directors. He will serve in the position for a two-year term. Immediately prior to being named chair, Kramer served as vice chair of the Board of Directors.
Kramer has served at Kramer, Green, Zuckerman, Greene & Buchsbaum P.A. for 38 years where he focuses his law practice on asset protection planning, estate planning and probate, pension planning, corporate, tax law and charitable giving. He earned his Masters of Law in Taxation degree from the University of Miami, and both his Juris Doctor and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida.
Kramer resides in Coconut Grove with his wife, Judy Kramer, a retired Miami-Dade County Public Schools administrator. The Kramers have two children, one grandchild and a beloved English bulldog named PeyPey. The Kramers have been significant supporters of BGCMD for many years. In addition to their work with BGCMD, they are members of the United Way Tocqueville Society. Together the couple enjoys reading, traveling, fitness activities and enjoying new restaurants.
“It is a great honor to serve as chair of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s Board of Directors,” said Kramer. “I am pleased to have supported and been a part of this wonderful organization for decades, and I look forward to serving as Board chair and continuing to work with Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami- Dade who continuously strive to make a difference in the lives of thousands of Miami-Dade youth members each year.”
In addition to Kramer being the new Board chair, three positions on the board have been appointed ― vice chair, secretary and treasurer:
- Vice Chair ― Rodolfo “Rudy” Lleonart, executive vice president ― managing director of Community Banking, Florida market, First American Bank (most recently a member of BGCMD’s Executive Board)
- Secretary ― Robert Cuevas, a retired Miami-Dade County attorney (most recently a member of BGCMD’s Board of Directors)
