Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade offers a fun and enriching Educational After School Program for children in K – 8th grades, Mondays – Fridays 2:00PM – 7:00PM
HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE
Youth receive additional academic support from qualified staff during the After-School Program
LITERACY ACTIVITIES
Additional academic support is provided by a certified teacher that implements a fun and engaging literacy curriculum to increase the love of reading and promote academic success.
TUTORING
Weekly tutoring is available for qualifying students.
ARTS & CRAFTS
Children are in touch with their creative side with a rich assortment of arts and crafts projects.
SPORTS AND FITNESS
Scheduled recreation time give our kids an outlet through physical exertion as well as social skills development. Sports & activities include: basketball, dance, flag football and soccer.
STEM (science, technology, engineering and math)
A certified teacher engages our young minds in our on-site STEM Lab with experiences that develop their appreciation and use of science, technology and math in their everyday lives.
GENERAL RECREATION & GAMES
Our club is equipped with board games, billiards, foosball, ping pong and more for kids to just have fun!

Once your child reaches high-school (9th-12th Grade), in addition to all the valuable resources we currently provide, we offer them a specialized program geared for post-secondary placement, career choices, and future planning. The Teen Program curriculum is designed to prepare them for the next stage in their development and provide meaningful experiences that will help build their character and confidence.

TEACHER’S WORK DAYS
The Summer Camp Program is open to all school aged youth (K-12) and are grouped by age/grade. During the 8 weeks program we offer indoor and outdoor activities and most important an hour of literacy daily to maintain the youth’s reading level. Children will be accepted on a first-come basis until the program is filled. Parents must come to the club to register their child.
