Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade offers a fun and enriching After School Program for children in K – 8th grades and an exciting Teen Program for 9th – 12th grades. Our club also offers an Athletic Program for all ages.

The After-School Program includes:

HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE
Youth receive additional academic support from qualified staff during the After-School Program from Mon-Thurs.
LITERACY ACTIVITIES
Additional academic support is provided by a certified teacher that implements a fun and engaging literacy curriculum to increase the love of reading and promote academic success.
TUTORING
Weekly tutoring is available for qualifying students.
COMPUTER LAB
The lab enables the student to access updated technology for homework and academic projects as well as learning support through math and literacy games.
ARTS & CRAFTS
Children are in touch with their creative side with a rich assortment of arts and crafts projects.
SPORTS AND FITNESS
Scheduled recreation time give our kids an outlet through physical exertion as well as social skills development
STEM (science, technology and math)
A certified teacher engages our young minds in our on-site STEM Lab with experiences that develop their appreciation and use of science, technology and math in their everyday lives.
GENERAL RECREATION & GAMES
Our club is equipped with board games, billiards, foosball, ping pong and more for kids to just have fun!

The Teen Program includes:

• Tutoring
• ACT/SAT preparation
• Career Preparedness, Leadership Development & Mentoring
• Sports and Fitness & Field Trips
• Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship

High School Students will also have the opportunity to complete Community Service Hours towards graduation during the Program.

Qualifying students may also have the opportunity to become employed with Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade Summer Camp (certain criteria apply).

• Intramural Boys & Girls Soccer (FEB – MAY)
• Intramural Flag football (SEP – NOV)
• Intramural Basketball (FEB – JUNE & AUG – NOV)
• Intramural Tennis (AUG – JUNE)
• Dance (AUG – JUNE)

AFTERSCHOOL | Grades K-8
Monday – Friday from 2:00pm – 7:00pm**
1st Session: August 19, 2019 to Dec. 20, 2019 $240
2nd Session: January 6, 2020 to June 3, 2020 $300

TEEN PROGRAM | Grades 9-12
Monday – Friday from 2:00pm – 8:00pm
1st Session: August 19, 2019 to Dec. 20, 2019 $50
2nd Session: January 6, 2020 to June 3, 2020 $50

*Snacks and/or meals are included in the costs.
Payment is due at the beginning of each session.

TEACHER WORK DAYS
We are open from 8 am – 6 pm on all Dade County School Teacher Work Days and selected Holidays.

COST:
(Includes lunch)

• Registered After-School program members
o $10 per child/per day
• Non-members:
o $15 per child/per day PLUS a $25 registration fee per session.

Additional lunch or snack items can be purchased at the Hank Kline Concession Stand if preferred.
