Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade offers a fun and enriching Educational After School Program for children in K – 5th grades, Mondays–Fridays 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM 

HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE
Youth receive additional academic support from qualified staff during the After-School Program

LITERACY ACTIVITIES
Additional academic support is provided by a youth development professional who implements a fun and engaging literacy curriculum to increase the love of reading and promote academic success.

TUTORING
Weekly tutoring is available for qualifying students.

ARTS & CRAFTS
Children explore their creativity through a variety of different projects.

GENERAL RECREATION & GAMES
Our club is equipped with board games, foosball, ping-pong and more for kids to just have fun!

STEM (science, technology, engineering and math)
A youth development professional engages our young minds in our on-site STEM Lab with experiences that develop their appreciation and use of science, technology and math in their everyday lives.
 

DATES: 

  • Monday – Friday from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • August to June (School Year)
  • Includes Snacks

TEACHER WORKDAYS

  • We are open from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM on all Dade County School Teacher Workdays and selected Holidays.
  • Includes Snacks

The Summer Camp Program is open to all school aged youth (K-5) and is grouped by age/grade. During the 8-week program we offer indoor and outdoor activities and most importantly, an hour of literacy daily to maintain the youth’s reading level.  Children will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the program is filled. Parents must come to the club to register their child.

  • Organized group games 
  • Water Days  
  • Fieldtrips – It is mandatory for each child attending field trips to wear their Boys & Girls Clubs T-shirt, which will be provided the 1st week of camp
