Question: Will I be responsible for transportation to/from the event and parking?
Yes, all pre and post transportation, including parking is your responsibility. Please visit PortMiami’s website. Parking capacity is extremely limited, so we encourage guests to use public transportation, car service options, ride shares or taxis.
Question: What documentation do I need to bring to sail?
Proof of Citizenship (see below) AND A Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- State certified U.S. birth certificate (Baptismal paper, hospital certificates of birth, and Puerto Rico birth certificates issued prior to 7/1/10 are not acceptable.)
- Original certificate of U.S. naturalization
- Original certificate of U.S. citizenship U.S. Consular report of your birth abroad*PLEASE MAKE NOTE THAT VALID PASSPORTS OR PASSPORT CARDS MUST HAVE EXPIRATION DATE A MINIMUM OF SIX (6) MONTHS PAST THE LAST DATE OF OUR EVENT (i.e. May 16, 2020). Question: Is there a limit on baggage/luggage?
Answer: While there is no limit, as this is a short event, only carry-on luggage is permitted and all luggage must be able to fit through the standard size luggage scanners as seen at airports.
Question: Will the gala be a Black Tie event?
The dress code recommended for the gala is Cocktail Chic.
Question: How many guests per cabin?
Staterooms for this one night cruise are being offered as double occupancy. There are a limited number of triple and quad staterooms available. These will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Question: Is there a fee for an additional guest in each stateroom?
Children under 18 years old cruise free. Each additional guest aged 19 and over will incur an added charge of $150.
Question: How do I register additional guests in my stateroom?
After you have registered 1st and 2nd guest, please contact Rhia Hunter at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 305-446-9910, ext 30 to add any additional guests to your stateroom.
Question: Can my infant child sail with me? What is Norwegian Cruise Line’s age policy?
Yes, providing there are available triple and quad staterooms at the time of your purchase. The minimum age for sailing is 6 months old.
Question: Can I cruise if I am pregnant?
Norwegian Cruise Line cannot accept guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during the cruise. All guests are required to sign a health questionnaire at check-in to ensure they are aware of the cruise line’s pregnancy policy.
Question: What will be included onboard?
Answer: All accommodations, meals, premium brand drinks, entertainment, Wi-FI, recreation activities including, but not limited to, the and Galaxy Pavilion along with daily service charges are included. Credit card will be collected during the check-in process for any incidentals of a personal nature you may wish to experience or participate in, while onboard.
Question: What will be available onboard?

Question: What is available for purchase onboard?
Answer: After we sail, you will be able to shop in duty-free boutiques for perfume, jewelry, watches and spirits. When you want some “me” time, look no further than the Mandara Spa®. Book one of our specialty treatments when onboard. You can also have the opportunity to play all of your favorite games in our award-winning Casinos at Sea®.
Question: Can I use cash to purchase items on board?
No, the ship uses a cashless system. As part of the check-in process, you will be required to supply a credit card. All shipboard purchases (in the stores, at the spa, etc.) will be charged to your credit card.
Question: Will I be able to pre-book dining and entertainment?
Answer: Due to the special nature of this event, dining and entertainment will not be accessible to book on your own. Further details regarding dining and entertainment will be made available once onboard.
Question: Will Splash Academy be available?
Yes, Splash Academy will be available when the ship is sailing.
Question: Can I bring liquor or non-alcoholic beverages (from home or from port) onboard?
No, and there is no need as all beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are complimentary on this one- night charity cruise.
