We’re happy to announce that this summer Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade will be hosting five Miami students that have been selected by Bank of America as the 2015 Bank of America Student Leaders.
Throughout the month of July, these five young individuals will join more than 200 other Student Leaders from around the country for a week-long leadership summit in Washington, D.C., where they will participate in skill-building workshops, a service learning project, sessions to develop better money habits and meetings with Members of Congress. Since 2004, the program has connected 60 teens from Miami with summer employment, and has supported 2,200 young people nationwide.
